Kaylee Paperin of East Meadow required open heart surgery when she was 6 weeks old. Now, at age 10, she has been chosen to be a Heart Walk ambassador, and her family held a fundraiser for the American Heart Association at the Nutty Irishman in Farmingdale on Saturday. Videojournalist: Frank Posillico (Aug. 6, 2011)
Newsday ran an article of Kaylee’s Heart fundraiser online today and should be in the printed paper Friday, Aug. 5th. The reporter will also be down at The Nutty Irishman on Saturday to cover the event as well.
Our fundraiser is looking good so far and we are very optimistic.
